How to dress for casual lunch

My Style

Hello world,

Today I witnessed another muggy day in Manhattan:) As the season is ending so is the heat, or at least I hope. It’s difficult to dress as the seasons transition but since its still August I decided to wear a dress for the sunny day. I was meeting a couple of friends for a girls lunch in lower east side. Whenever I have an excuse to wear heels I do so no matter what:) I paired this blue print dress with a pair of denim open heels and a denim jacket to create a monochromatic look. I wasn’t feeling blue on the inside, but definitely on the outside:) I believe I was a bit insipried by britney and orlando’s look a while back! The dress I am wearing is actually a shift dress but I like tying a jacket around my waist to accentuate it or add a belt sometimes to change it up. The good thing about this color and pattern is that you can use it in summer/fall/spring. Blue is very versatile, which is why I own lots in my closet. Overall my look was pretty simple but remember the accesories always make everything better. I added a pop of black in my accesories to break the blue crush I was having. I had lunch with friends at a little place called Love Mama in LES that OMG! You have to try at least once. I specifically go for one dish in particular called Rendang with chicken. ❤ If you haven’t tried Malaysian food, this is the place to go! It’s like literally the Malaysian mama of your dreams just cooked it. I took my gals there for the first time and one loved it so much she ate one and took one to go! :p It was great catching up with friends and chit chating like we know how. I hope my looks keep insiring you to create and try new things. Stay beautiful and don’t forget to comment below. 🙂 Also, my Youtube channel is active so go check my video blogs as well.
