On NYFW day 1, I got to attend Couture Fashion Week at The Crowne Plaza in Times Square. Above you can see my favorite looks of the show by both Latinas, Paola Gamero (Peru) and Laura Santana(Ecuador). In Gamero’s fashion show I saw lots of detailed designs filled with sequins, lace, and silk. I love princess/royal collections like these, something I would truly wear. As for Santana, her whole collection was a party of color and night gowns and sexy jumpsuits. Her collection was filled with dresses for any night out occasion. The stage of the runway was set in a way that all the spectators could see, I really enjoyed that. After the fashion show we all had a party downstairs filled with music and food. It was a great start for fashion week.
