As women, we all go through a crisis every week with the famous phrase of “I don’t have anything to wear!” In cases like this, the little black dress comes to the rescue. We all have a little black dress hanging somewhere, or at least I hope so! The black dress that I am wearing in this shoot is very dressy if you see it on its own. I can wear it for a date night, fashion event, or the opera if I wanted. I love finding ways to make the same look work for the day or night. In this case I dressed this down to make it look city chic. Adding statement pieces not only make your look stand out, but pairing it with booties/flats/sneakers can totally dress it down. I love throwing on a leather jacket onto anything that is simple because it just makes me feel cool. Don’t be scared on throwing stuff on, layering, or making your little black dress into a top or skirt. Experiment! Trust me, you will give your closet more use.
