Embroidery is worth it

My Style

Hello world,

It’s insanity in the city! Everyone is either out of town every weekend in the Hamptons or in Europe by now. Meanwhile, me and the outcasts are stuck in the hot and humid NYC summer. 😦 I am trying to make the best out of it and find fun things to do in the city as much as I can. Today I randomly went to SoHo with my roommate to walk around, shoot this look, and a video that is up on my insta! (so cute). I’ve been going to random pop-up shops, movies at the park, and hopefully a museum soon. My outfit is pretty casual on the top and pretty amazing in the bottom. I love embroidered things! There’s so much detail and effort into making anything embroidered, that it makes me feel even more special when I wear it. This Kobi Halperin skirt is his newest collection, which can be transformed from day to night. I wanted a more casual fun look, so I paired it with mules, a t-shirt, and my cool hat. I also own embroidered bags, coats, and short jackets with an amazing design from Mexican indigenous tribes. You should have at least one master piece in your closet that is either for a special night out or that it just makes you feel cool in it. Always adapt any funky print/pattern to your own style and don’t be afraid to play around with looks in front of your mirror.
