It’s October and as we all know it’s breast cancer awareness month. Today’s look was more than just wearing pink to support, there is more to it. I had a family member who passed away a couple of years ago from cancer and it was by far the worst. For those of you who haven’t experienced this, you practically see your loved one pass through many phases until a miracle happens or they pass away. When my family member died I started thanking each day I was alive and each positive news from my regular check ups. Yes, you should check yourself for cancer regularly before it’s too late. And if you are in good health and can support any cancer cause, do it! You never know how many lives you could be saving or how many donations could eventually be saving you.

It was such a nice day today that I decided to specifically do this look in honor of breast cancer and life. I put together as much pink as I could and went with a very fresh and flowy dress. I wanted my look to represent being alive and giving others the opportunity to do so as well.

Therefore, my all blush pink look was more than just for fashion. I want to support as much as I can towards something so dangerous as cancer. I am very excited that I will be running this weekend in a cancer awareness race. I hope to cause a little initiative in you, the person reading this, to do some good for your community.
