We are halfway through 2017….just putting it into perspective. I hope you’ve achieved everything you said you would, you know, back in January! Spring in San Diego has been pretty much bipolar in terms of the weather, but let’s talk about feathers. Yes, girl! Feathers are your friends if you know how to style them correctly. When working with feathers you got to decide whether you want to dress it up or down. I’ve used this skirt for going out during the day (like this look) and for night. What I like about this feather skirt is that it adds just that touch of glamour that I love. I went to linner in this look and people just stopped me all the way to compliment my look (10 points for Nancy!) Remember to dress down this skirt by adding a t-shirt or any casual blouse to avoid looking like you’re going to your homecoming dance. Make sure you own something with feathers this season and if I’m not enough inspiration, look for Chanel’s past SS17 runway. The shoes I’m wearing is what makes this look more of a day look because of the awesome crochet design. These shoes can go from beach, to brunch, and with most day looks in general. I added a belt to accentuate my waist because when you tuck things in you can create some bulkiness that I don’t like.
